In robotics I designed a rover in tinkercad. I started with looking at designs of mars lander's then sketched one I thought looked good. After that I created it in tinkercad. I started by getting wheels then put the base over it. Then I added cameras and sonar panels and the outcome looked alright. The design principles was that it could overcome any terrain, it had good shock absorption and that it had strong joint placement. I then tried to create with Lego and my hypothesis was that it would. When we made it we worked in groups and we didn't use my design and it didn't work. If I could change anything about my Lego thing I would change everything because it didn't work.

Art Projects
This piece of art is about a robot that's a calculator that helps kids with math. We had to create a robot that used one of the PB4L School-wide Expectations, and I chose learning
This piece of art is a fish hook that we had to draw.

Letter to parents as Polynesian leaving to New Zealand
Dear Mother and Father, William here, I have finally made it to New Zealand after a long 5 month journey. I’m glad that I did not suffer from one of thy many diseases on thy boat and I am feeling good. Although I am all goods a couple people I made friends with sadly died but there’s still a couple people that are still alive who I don’t mind so that’s good.
I specifically remembering seeing land for the first time I wasn’t sure what New Zealand and was exciting to have finally saw some of it. My excitement grew as every hour we got a bit closer until we finally hit land. My heart rushed until the captain of the boat announced we were at New Caledonia. Although that killed some of my excitement I was still happy to be out of the boat for a while. We got to stay at the island for the night before the next couple months of travelling on the ocean.
For those next couple of months I started getting really sick and thought I was gonna die, luckily I didn’t and I cleared up just a month before we made it. That month was really boring though because that sickness I had went around everywhere and half of the people on the ship died. I had to play dice for the rest of the trip until I saw New Zealand. When I got to New Zealand it was cool. See ya later mother and father.

Term 1 Identity
Around the end of term 1 we did a piece of art kind of introducing us to what what we are doing this term, which is about art. To do the art we got the teacher to trace our shadow onto a white piece of paper. Then we cut that trace out and stuck it on some black paper and put it one the wall.
Express Yourself In Art
During this term we have been researching artists, this is a piece of work that I have done in a group.
Marti Friedlander
She began working as a photographer in 1964, when she travelled around New Zealand.
Her passion was taking photos of New zealand and the different events that took place.
Marti Friedlander photographed the people of New Zealand from the 1960s up until the present.
By bringing an immigrant’s perspective on her adopted country she showed New Zealanders to
themselves. She is particularly renowned for her portraits of artists in the 1960’s and 1970s, and for
her images of the last Maori women to have received the chin moko in a customary manner.
